Wisecard SmartOne support various issuance model, including central issuance, distributed issuance, instant issuance and etc.

De-Central Issuance consists of several central or regional sites where the raw, or prepared data is received from the Bank Card Management System. The data is still prepared for use at one central site, then transferred to the Personalization Machines at the different sites.
The Personalization the cards is usually sent to the geographically closest personalization site and then handled in the same way as in central issuance.

Instant issuance is qualitatively different to
Central issuance.
Instant issuance is capable to print cards directly at the Bank Branch. While it looks like a simple connection of the Branch system to the printer, the card production request goes through the system in real-time in the same way as in Central Issuance.

Mixed Issuance centrally processes and distributes the Personalization Data in Real Time or Batch to the branch or Perso Center.
Instant issuance is perfect for first time and fast
emergency re-issuance of cards or co-branded cards in branches or stores.
Replacement card production can be scheduled to be produced in the central site and shipped to
the branch or end customer.
